Why replace the entire cabinet, when it’s only the surface you would like to replace? Refacing is both cheaper and greener than the usual cabinet demo-and-replace techniques.
Bathroom or kitchen cabinet refacing is the process of calling in a professional company to replace doors and drawer fronts, while veneering the cabinet boxes. Refacing cabinets generally costs less than replacing your kitchen with custom cabinets

[Most refacing can be done in 2-5 days.]
•Day One and two: Remove hardware, doors, and drawer fronts. prep surfaces for veneering.
•Day Three: Begin veneering. Pick up and clean at end of day.
•Day Four: Continue veneering. Pick up and clean at end of day.
•Day Five: Finish veneering. Install new doors and drawer fronts. Install hardware. Make final adjustments. Final pickup and clean.

Veneer installed should last for many years.
Despite the bad connotations associated with the word veneer, it is not inherently inclined to peeling. Veneering is not a modern technique. It has been used successfully for hundreds of years.

You Can Reface Super-Old Cabinets, But There Are Limitations
As long as the boxes are structurally sound, they can be refaced. Kitchen Resurrection, have found that older boxes tend to be stronger and sturdier than newer boxes, and thus are great candidates for refacing.

Cost? Price Out New Cabinets, Then Cut That Figure In Half But it is estimated that cabinet refacing will cost about 50% of the cost of custom cabinet installation.

[Eco-Friendly Because You’re Not Throwing Away Many Materials]

There are several angles to this. Cabinet refacing: 1.Keeps cabinet boxes away from the landfill.
2. Not only that, but many cabinet boxes are made of MDF, which contains formaldehyde, a hazardous chemical.
3. Prevents more trees from being cut down to construct new cabinet boxes.
4. Reduces the carbon footprint associated with all of the above.

[Wood Veneer]

Most of the popular hardwood species are available, such as birch, maple, ash, oak, hickory, walnut, and so on.
Kitchen Resurrection likes to stick to the basics. Through experience, we,ve learned that customers were very much concerned about clean-up at the end of the day.
Clean-up can be a contentious issue between independent remodelers and customers. Often, clean-up and pick-up mean more work for the remodeler on the following day. The most time-efficient thing for a remodeler would be to leave everything “as is” at the end of the day.

Kitchen Resurrection has made clean-up one of their priorities at the end of each work day.

Choosing the perfect palate for your kitchen décor can be intimidating. We’ll make the process easy and fun!
